Comme le Vin Productions

Comme le Vin is a film production company that was founded by Catherine Vouvray and is currently based in Austin, Texas. Its mission is the creation of films whose stories center around women who have been historically overlooked or marginalized in American society, including LGBTQ+ folk.

Several people have asked about our name. In French, it means “like the wine”. My last name, Vouvray, is an official wine appellation in France and also the name of a village in the Loire Valley near Tours, where the grapes are grown. Now you know why our logo includes wine.
